Studies in Music Principles, Theory, and Performance Using Keyboarding and Orchestral Instruments (Continuing Education Division)

Eastern Carolina Educational Assistance Center's Department of Music Studies provides a comprehensive music program specializing in preparing students in becoming knowlegeable of musical principles, theory, and practice in performance areas of keyboarding/organ, strings, winds, and percussion.

Private instruction is available to children and adults in various performance areas with some group instruction.  Students are encouraged to purchase their own instruments in order to practice the fundamentals of instrumental music. For information regarding the purchase or rental of musical instruments, contact Dr. Gerold Jarmon, Center Director.  Continuing education credit is available for adult students.
